BOOK REVIEW: A WALK IN THE RAIN BY UDAI YADLA

Hello everyone,

Today I am reviewing this book ~ A Walk In The Rain by author Udai Yadla.

A Walk In the Rain is a beautiful love story and also an intricate tale of hair raising twists and turns. Sunny and Sandy fall in love with each other in their school days. Sunny, who was a lonely guy found his true love in Sandy but after spending some of the best days of their life, they gets separated due to the circumstances of life. This romance novel tells an inspiring story of true love between Sunny and Sandy.

Sunny and Saloni are the protagonists of the novel. Sunny is a system programmer, who is trapped in the past, living in his memories and lives a reclusive life. He is a mysogynistic man. Saloni is a prostitute who is forced into this job by circumstances. Her dark past, so mysterious and devastating , which eventually made her desperate for money. Fate brings Saloni and Sunny together for a common goal. Then the complex life events take turns and their journey explores answers the most complicated questions of life and love.

The best incident that I loved in this novel was when Sandy gets punished by the teacher and Sunny joins her too just because he couldn't see her in pain and he tried his utmost best to not make her feel alone in punishment even if that means taking harsh punishment without any fault.

The author has done a good job by telling this story of intense emotions in such an interesting manner with some thrilling twists. The narration style of the author is simple and language is easy to read. We can categorize this book into a romantic thriller. I loved the apt title of this book and also the book cover with the picture of the couple walking on a beach.

I would like to give 4/5 to this light and interesting read and would recommend it to all readers. I am sure you too would love this intriguing and engaging story.
