I know you are not the person to whom virginity of your spouse matters, because "you are extremely broad minded" but believe me, everyone is not like that and virginity of their spouses really matters to them.
Maybe I am sounding like an agony aunt from 1970's but do you know, there is a huge market of hymen repair in countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma and some of Arab countries as well and it is growing many folds every year. Yes, horny kids are everywhere; that's why doctrs are mining money.. Do you really think the mentality of the men from these countries really changed in the last six decades or they are still living in 1960's?
REVIEW:
Confessions of the Virgin Brides is based on true incidents. Author Khuswant Singh has challenged the mindset of the Indian men for whom virginity of their spouses is what only matters. In this book, Author shares 18 different cases of the Indian women, who had to go through awful experiences because of the mentality of their partner. These stories will make readers cry and really make them think why the Indian men are so double standard. This book clearly tells how men judge their partner's character and what matters most to them when it comes to marriage. And also highlights that how this doubt game in marriage spoils the most valuable relationships.
I liked how Author has shared the real life examples in this book so that readers get to know the emotions and the difficult thoughts and decisions these different women had to go through just because of the ill mindset. To know more you'll have to grab this book and read on your own.
I liked the writing style of the author. The language used is simple and easy to understand. The book cover is really thoughtful and the title is apt too. The book is fast paced and it was a really quick read.
I absolutely loved reading this book and I would recommend this book to everyone. I feel more such books should be written so that it can bring change in our society and specially change in the mindset of Indian men.
RATING: I could only give 5/5 Stars
