The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari~BOOK REVIEW

Hello friends!

This week I finished reading the book ~The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari ,by author Robin Sharma. I heard a lot about this book from my friends and I really wanted to read it as soon as possible. And it was book worth -reading! I love reading motivational books and I can say this is the best book I have read so far.

This book is an inspiring book to create a life of passion, purpose and peace. The tale in this book provides a step-by-step approach to living with a greater courage, balance, abundance and joy. It is a wonderfully crafted fable that tells the extraordinary story of Julian Mantle, a lawyer forced to confront the spiritual crisis of his out-of-balance life. On a life-changing odyssey to an ancient culture,he discovers powerful, wise and practical lessons that teach us to develop joyful thoughts, follow our life's mission and calling, cultivate self-discipline,value time and nourish relationships and live fully, one day at a time.

I would like to share the good things I have learnt after reading this book. I already knew about the good habits mentioned in this book but this book through some useful techniques inspired me to follow them in my life by applying the techniques. This book mainly focus on mind-mastery. We have the power to control our mind and mind-mastery leads to life-mastery. Our thoughts our very powerful and we must only concentrate on positive thoughts and not give importance to negative thoughts. We can do this by keeping a watch on our thoughts. We must learn the art to sit silently and observe our thoughts throughout the day.We should develop good habits like waking up early morning and exercising daily and how can we develop this habit? We need to just follow this routine for atleast 21 days and then it will automatically become our daily habit. We should value our time and resources. The focus is on maintaining a balanced life because sometimes we become so money-minded that we forget to live in the present. We are unable to find time for us,for our families and for the things we love to do. But we should never run this race. I know money is important but our happiness should never be compromised for achievement. We should try to find our true calling and then follow it. We must give time to relationships like developing friendships, seeing the childhood of our children and doing things which we always wanted to do with passion. Above all we should realize our purpose in life which is to serve all!

There are many techniques explained in this book which I am following these days. A must read for all!

Thank You for stopping by!
xoxo
