REVIEW:

A self-help book works at a level where it reminds you of what you need to do and what you need to stop doing. Self-help books gives you the positive nagging that can potentially put you on a track that takes you to your destination, i.e. Happiness. Sometimes they make you stop and think and observe your daily actions. Happiness is All We Want by Author Ashutosh Mishra, is one such book. This book focus on attaining Happiness and Peace by first working on overall well-being which includes- Physical, Mental and Spiritual Well-being. Author has presented very useful techniques for physical, mental and spiritual well-being. These techniques explained are easy to follow in our busy lives and these simple techniques can bring a big change. To explain these techniques author has skillfully put all his knowledge in this book. Author used the personal anecdotes and have also shared small anecdotes of people who suffered and recovered by following these useful techniques. I enjoyed reading the experiences and examples he shared.

Our busy modern life, brings changes in lifestyle which may be harmful and leads to personal neglect. Author says, personal neglect is growing at an alarming rate which needs to be addressed seriously. He also says that we are always running to achieve one milestone after other and neglect our personal development. He also explains that these milestones we want to achieve are a mirage, though an important external motivator.

Suggested useful and practical tips and methods in this book motivated me to work on my physical, mental and spiritual well-being. This book taught me how to take out some time to work on my personal growth and how small techniques given in the book can become part of my everyday routine and how can they benefit me in the long run. I already started doing few things based on author's advice immediately after reading the book. One such is making wishlist and it's revision everyday. Then making exercise part of my day, mindfulness in every activity, taking out time for me, including meditation and reading spiritual books. It is very important to focus on spiritual well-being to attain a peaceful state and balanced soul.

RATING: 5/5.

I would strongly recommend this book to all my readers. I would like to thank author for writing this great book that inspired me to find real happiness inside me by following SWC (Smart Well-being Capsules ). Afterall, Happiness Is All We Want. :)
