Tips on styling your stilettos with different outfits for the festive season

‘I have many shoes‘, said no woman ever! Whether it be pumps or stilettos, wedges or espadrilles, a girl never can have too many shoes! Footwear is a part of our identity, and so much of the girl’s personality can be deduced by looking at her shoes. For Eg, if you spot a woman stepping out of the car in sneakers, most probably she’s a mom. Similarly, a girl balancing herself on high heel stilettos on the sidewalk is excited about her upcoming date and so on!

We women never need any excuse to buy a pair. However, if there is any occasion, we are more than eager to milk the opportunity. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, festivals...you name it, and we already have a pair that we have been eyeing on. And guess what, the festival season is here! Starting with Navratri, Durga Puja, Dusshera leading to Diwali, this stretch of the year is when we are fully decked up head to toe! And that’s why I am here to guide you with your outfits and footwear for this entire period! So here is the list of my favourite stilettos online, which you can pair with party and evening wear as well as for daily use.

Dandiya Night: With the flowing lehenga of yours, you might need an appropriate elevation as well as comfort because you would want to dance the evening away without tripping or getting a shoe bite. Although a pair of stilettos would look sexy with a midriff-baring lehenga, you might want to skip those risky heels and opt for a block heel or wedges instead.

Durga Puja: The best part about these 5 days is that you can dress up in any way you want. You may opt for ethnic attire for a couple of days and go Western for the rest. Stilettos look super hot with a saree. I highly recommend sparkly heels for such get-ups. The best part about PVC heeled footwear? They are neutral without being in beige or brown and still look good with everything.

For the Western looks, I highly suggest these pretty gold heels. Gold shoes look good with everything and these absolutely make a statement!

Diwali Card Party: One likes to doll up all the way on the eve of what is considered to be India’s most widely celebrated festival. Since it’s a cocktail night, it’s best to get dressed in something blingy; head to toe. If you want to wear a saree, pair it with a slinky blouse and sparkly heels. If you’re going to wear a maxi dress, make sure it’s well fitted with a slit preferably. Or, if you want to go short, opt for a sequined gown or skirt. No matter which look you go for, pair them with a set of pretty stilettos. Let your feet do the talking while you bite your nails and fidget your feet after an anxious card move!

Diwali: With a traditional look for Diwali (be it a sharara, lehenga, saree or salwar suit), a pair of sparkly yet comfortable shoes. With all the running around and entertaining guests, you ought to look pretty yet ease throughout. So opt for something like these.

No matter how many shoes you have, don’t forget to stock up on a pair of classic black pumps like these.

So which pair are you getting this season? Or won’t you like to snag them all?
