SPIRULINA AND BANANA SMOOTHIE

Today I am going to share a unique recipe which is made using Spirulina Powder. Parry Wellness recently launched the powder form of Spirulina. Nowadays due to our hectic and busy schedule, and even due to the high amount of chemicals being added in all sorts of fruits and vegetables, we are not able to reach our daily nutrition and protein level. Spirulina aims to fill this gap and make it easily available to consumers. We can use it in simple recipes everyday.I prepared Banana Smoothie using Spirulina Powder. This thick and healthy fruit drink results in smooth and creamy drink and yummylicious too.

PREPARATION TIME: 5-10 MINS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Frozen Banana, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 Cup milk
  • Sugar
  • 1tsp Spirulina Powder
  • 1 Cinnamon or Cinnamon Powder

METHOD:

In a blender, combine frozen banana, milk , sugar, Cinnamon and Spirulina Powder. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.



NOTE: We used cinnamon powder to mask the smell of Spirulina Powder.
