REVIEW OF TRUEFITT & HILL INDIA, THE OLDEST BARBERSHOP IN THE WORLD

Today I am reviewing Truefitt & Hill on my blog. Truefitt & Hill is one of the world's best luxury and oldest barbershop. Established in 1805, the Britain -based luxury barbershop, Truefitt and Hill has opened its flagship store in Delhi on March 30th this year.
Truefitt & Hill specializes in men's grooming services. It's elite clientele has included Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens, Lord Byron, Frank Sinatra, Winston Churchill, Alfred Hitchcock and Laurence Olivier. Apart from London, they also have luxury barbershops in Singapore, Chicago, Las Vegas, Canada, China and Malaysia.
I was happy to have received an invitation for royal services at the hands of well-trained staff of the salon. As it is India's first ' men's only' barbershop so I sent my brother Kanwar to get the Signature service -Royal Manicure at the salon.

Today’s 21st century man faces more pressure than ever before to look his best. Exclusive grooming salons and a range of products are redefining what it is to be male. Masculinity is undergoing a shift. No longer solely about that scruffy, rugged look, being well-groomed is sweeping the world. Facials and manicures are now part of the modern man’s regime.
Walk-in-appointments are something of a rarity, so Kanwar booked his slot one day prior. The appointment was confirmed followed by SMS and reminder call from the barbershop staff.
Upon entering the salon, the warm welcome and hospitality of the staff assured him of the service he was in to receive.
AMBIENCE:
The royal interiors of the salon totally impressed him and somehow reminded him of Hotel he stayed in London few months back. Interior in Mahogany wood and a blue wallpaper create a contrast. The entire set-up is geared towards understated luxury.
Attendant Yash directed Kanwar to the comfortable seat, where he experienced the world class service.
SERVICE:
He had seated on one of the most comfortable and exquisite barber chairs he have ever experienced. With a perfect foot rest and fine upholstery, he sunk in the chair in anticipation of the service to begin.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
Kanwar felt revitalised and renewed. In his words~ " Truefitt & hill don't just offer a service, they offer an experience!"
RATING: Would love to give 5/5 for the most luxurious atmosphere, excellent royal manicure by highly skilled barbers and for providing this overall luxurious experience.

The service began with a consultation and cleansing of the hand skin type followed by cut and file. Thereafter, the body icing & bath snow technique was applied to soften the hands for intense cleansing. The hands were then dipped into the water bowl which has a blend of various essential oils followed by a hand cleanse with body wash & shower sherbet (Scrub) till the elbow to remove dirt, dead skin and tan. Different flavours were available such as Hawaiin lei Orchid/ Papaya nectar/ Milk n honey/ Strawberry. Once done with the cleansing process, a hydrating clay mask was applied on the hands and left for a few minutes to rejuvenate and revitalize the skin. The mask was gently washed off the hands and moisturized with a mini hand massage. After service, they offered cologne for spray to walk out feeling refreshed. The signature service duration was 45-minute. The products used were the in-house T&H brand. The Royal Manicure relaxes, pampers and revitalizes the soul. Other services include pedicure, manicure, haircut, haircut, shave.
