BOOK REVIEW:

I picked this book at the right time, when I needed the motivation to achieve my goals. This is not like any other self-help books which keeps explaining difficult tools and techniques to apply in professional and personal life but this is a quick read with the best advises anyone can get to grow  professionally. The advises given in this book are simple and easy to apply in our life.

The book is divided into 4 different chapters which makes it really easy to understand the useful points author wants to explain to readers.

1.Too many distractions, too little substance
2.Dealing with the beast
3. Putting into practice
4. Finding Balance
Author focusses on first understanding balance in life, then importance of finding balance in life, finding the right goals, setting the right goals , to study the goals carefully and breaking them down into desired action reasons,why we fail to achieve the goals we set, identifying the existence of problem and finding the tools we need to overcome the problem. The book talks about role of perspectives , short-term goals and long-term goals. Author discusses the important aspects that are very critical to goal achievement. Time management, prioritization, building successful routines are some of the important aspects that are very well explained by Author.

This book will actually make you pause and think about what you are doing in your life , what goals you are chasing and how you should find balance in life.

I have learnt a lot from this book and will surely put these points into practice.
