BALI TRIP: DAY 4

DAY 4

We started off our Day 4 pretty early and first enjoyed swimming in our hotel pool. Then had our  nbreakfast and left to explore the most awaited destination on our list- Tanah Lot Temple.

It took us 3 hours to reach Tanah Lot Temple. We stopped in between to click pictures and this destination had a lot for us to see. We reached Bali's Sea Temple which is one of Bali's most important landmark, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An Ancient Hindu Shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah lot Temple is simply among Bali's not-to-be missed icons. We tourists are not allowed to enter Temple grounds, but the panoramic views and cultural offerings were highlights to enjoy. I was thrilled to see the waves and wanted to spend the whole evening at this place.

Art shops selling souvenirs and curious of all sorts lined the pathway from the parking area to the temple. We purchased some really cool stuff from there like wooden trays, some cool tees with Bali and Kuta written all over them and some stylish Beejnas :D (The traditional style fans mostly used in villages).

It took us again 3 hours to reach our hotel. From there we headed towards Queens Of India Restaurant. We had hearty meal there and headed back to our hotel!
