We often struggle with what to wear to work~ Business meetings, casual weekends or for events in the the meeting, We all know how big of a difference our appearance makes in the workplace.

I really do believe that how we look on the outside is a projection of how we feel on the inside. But is it possible to be fashionable while working? Absolutely!

Professional and polished doesn’t mean uncomfortable and impractical. I believe it all depends on the work environment. To start dressing for an office environment on Friday, we need to emphasize on its spirit which is upbeat, relaxed and effortless.

 Business casual consist of neutral colors more towards the dark shades of black, grey, navy but can include white and off white. The clothing should be pressed and clean. Don’t let the word casual mislead you. You still need to look professional even on Fridays.

My idea of Friday Dressing is to wear a formal sheath dress so that I can get a break from regular boring Shirt and Trousers. But if you're thinking to wear dress on Fridays, you must keep these important tips in mind for Friday Dressing!

We  need to pay attention to fit because if it is too tight ,we will look inappropriate. If it is too baggy,  we'll look sloppy. We should opt for a more classic fit. Fit is important ~neat, clean and not ill-fitting. Choose a fit that’ll keep you comfortable on the job. 

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND: Some things just aren’t appropriate for the office. If we are looking to wear dress on Friday then we should not wear very tight fitting dresses that are meant for a night club and we should also not go for dresses that are too low cut.

The cleaner and simpler the design, ,the more powerful it is. The quality of the fabric is extremely important. People judge you by the quality of the fabric. The fabrics should be very high quality so we  know that we will look neat and trim at the end of the day.

MAKEUP~ Keep your make-up to the bare minimum for maximum results. As in business, people focus on face.

 HAIRDO for office? You can opt for a french bun. The hair should not be messy or disorganized.

HOW TO ACCESSORIZE: To compliment a work dress, it’s important to choose accessories that are comfortable. Keep accessories to the minimal. Buy simple yet exquisite looking jewellery. A silver necklace with a pave pendant is the kind of thing you can wear every day .

SHOES: I love flat ballerinas & smart handbag  that add a final flourish to this look.
