REVIEW:
The story is set in 2050 and its about the Protoganist Ismael who is 30 year old, a Pakistani-American. He wants to gain a direct knowledge of Paradise and Hell but to gain this, the price he has to pay is too steep. He tries the hallucinogen Ayahuasca, which set him on the path to discover the secrets which are unknown to the real world. He takes a trip to Pakistan and meet his father to gain his trust which was highly needed in order to make his mission fulfilled. When he reach Pakistan, he sees that each and every people dreamy state to attain paradise. People are crazy to go in heaven and they can go to any extent to get into heaven. They are killing each other mercilessly and they don't see any wrong in it.
Ismael experience hell and paradise and the description of these two worlds by author is very well-written. Readers can actually imagine the things happening in front of their eyes. Lot of imagination is used in the novel. The suspense was maintained all through the book. Characterization is done very well. The story is fast paced. This is a gripping novel. The language used is simple and easy to understand. I really loved the book cover which is beautifully designed. The title is apt.
I would highly recommend this book to all the readers. I assure you are going to love it.
I would like to give it 4/5 stars.
